History Lessons
The history of Winchester Performance is just as important to me as it's future. When I started my ranch, I did so with foundation horses, local stock, and used various sires to help create the dynasty I own today. Featured on this page are the horses who got me where I am.First up is a local stock mare I purchased for $10,000. I remember fretting and getting overly concerned about her price because I had just disabled and starved a few custom imports and a few horses I had purchased from other ranches in the game. Her name was Fair Victory and she was with me as I rolled the dice and chose a sire for my very first foal. The very first stallion I chose was Reyn On Me. He was a Futurity Winner who went on to claim his advanced title.
The Reyning Victory was my first filly and she was so much more than I had dared hope for. She suffered a serious injury as a suckling that took until her yearling year to get better. Victory bounced back from that and was able to finish her training and become my very first Futurity Winner. She went on to give me several nice foals, some of which I wished I had the forethought of keeping a little longer. Either way however, this was the mare that set me on the path I am on today and I will be forever grateful to her for doing so.
